Hi,

while reading the specs and the numerous SOAP examples
and bindings I wonder if there is a way to define the
required SOAP wire protocols with WSDL to simplify the
implementation of the SOAP based requests and the
underlying services.

Due to my experience with WSDL and different Web Service
tool kits it is very complicated or even impossible to
define a WSDL that will produce the required SOAP wire
protocls. That's because the tool kits generate the
SOAP wire protocol, the programmer has not direct control
about it.

Not using WSDL and Web service tool kits makes the development
of Liberty enabled services and applications a cumbersome task
because "handcrafting" the required XML documents, e.g. using
DOM, is complicated and error prone.

Wouldn't it be better to define the WSDL files for the SOAP
binding instead of the wire protocol?

Regards,
Werner Dit
